Located on Windmill Balk Lane is the Outwood Academy Adwick which opened on 1 September 2009, replacing North Doncaster Technology College. The academy is a complex of buildings that was previously the co-educational Percy Jackson Grammar School of 1939 and the Adwick School of 1965.
