If you’re driving, the best way to reach the site is along the airport road towards Ratho Roundabout. Then take the M9 motorway to junction 3, follow signs for Linlithgow. The route also passes by the grounds of nearby Hopetoun House and Bo’ness Castle. The John Muir Way, a long-distance walking trail, also runs through town, past Blackness Castle. If you plan on using buses, consider purchasing a Linlithgow PlusBus ticket. This gives you unlimited travel on participating operators’ services, including the route to Blackness.

The cosy restaurant is situated in an eighteenth century butchers, which has been sympathetically refitted and oozes character. It serves a selection of modern Scottish dishes with a Mediterranean influence.
There is also a wide choice of eateries within the vicinity of the station including a sushi bar, Indian restaurant and Chinese takeaway. There are many other restaurants within the town too, as well as a number of supermarkets.
Champany is conveniently located close to air, rail and road links with Edinburgh Airport only twenty minutes drive away. Champany is also close to the railway station with direct services to both Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Queen Street, while the M9 motorway is nearby. It is also a short distance to the Avon Aqueduct. Customers can also enjoy a range of exceptional stores at the nearby Stockbridge Retail Park, which includes Sainsbury’s, ALDI and Argos.
