Lac d’Aiguebelette

The Lac d’Aiguebelette is a natural lake in the commune of Aiguebelette-le-Lac, Savoie department. It is surrounded by mountains and has a pleasant climate.


The lake of Aiguebelette-le-Lac is ideal for rowing training camps. The lake has a 2000m, 6-lane course on which rowers can compete. In addition, the city has hosted the World Rowing Championships twice, in 1997 and 2015.
