There are 25 train journeys a day between Bromborough Rake and Liverpool Lime Street. On average, the trip takes 22 minutes. The cheapest ticket is £3 – £5.
On monday 22 August, Merseyrail brought back some services to the Green Lane and Bromborough Rake stations following a campaign by local disabled people. Services are currently running every 30 minutes.

It’s home to the largest collection of Grade I listed buildings in Liverpool and offers sweeping views across the famous waterfront colonnades.
The dock is also home to a variety of bars and cafes, including Turncoat which has a gin distillery on site and serves drinks free from artificial flavors and colours. You can also dance the night away at Revolution which brings a taste of Cuba to the dockside with live music and rum cocktails.
3. Birkenhead Marina
Located in Drummoyne, Birkenhead Point is the largest outlet center in Sydney. It has more than 120 premium stores and offers scenic views of Sydney harbor. It also houses a marina and a residential complex with luxury apartments. Guests can enjoy shopping at the luxury mall and savoring delicious food at the cafes and restaurants.
The Lighthouse play gym at Birkenhead Point Outlet Center is the latest addition and features a triangle deck climb, a spiral slide, and a sphere look-out with gadgets. The facility is ideal for children between 4 and 6 years old.

4. Birkenhead Waterfront
When the tide is out Parkgate Beach offers visitors the chance to experience a stunning natural spectacle of a wildlife-rich marsh and promenade. At other times the area is a quiet seaside destination and perfect for family walks or cycling.

5. Birkenhead Park
The historic c 90ha Birkenhead Park, opened in 1847, was England’s first publicly funded park. Designed by Joseph Paxton (creator of The Crystal Palace), it was a model for parks worldwide, including New York’s Central Park. There are a variety of activities and attractions to see, including a Swiss Bridge, neo-classical Grand Entrance Gateway and the lake-shaped Swiss Island.
Visitors can also learn about local transport at the Wirral Transport Museum, located nearby in Woodside. The museum features a broad range of vintage and classic vehicles.
